Words from the farmer:

This farm was founded and named La Fundadora by the Scotsman Mr. Potter who sold it after being caught in the crossfire between the forces of the National Guard and those of Augusto Cesar Sandino in the late 1930's. Mr. Potter returned to Scotland and after his death his family sold it to President Somoza Garcia. It was later confiscated by the Nicaraguan state in the 80's and became part of the agrarian reform in the 90's. When it was put up for sale and I went to see it, I loved it and decided to buy it on the spot without hesitation.

Roaster Notes:

By popular demand we have bought more coffee from Ricardo. This Harvest is a little different than previous but that is the nature of growing coffee. A sweet and spiced taste and an excellent one for milk based drinks
