The Copán region in western Honduras is celebrated for its exceptional Arabica coffee. Situated near the Guatemalan border, it encompasses Copán, Ocotepeque, and parts of Santa Bárbara. The area's high altitudes, varied microclimates, and fertile volcanic soil create a distinctive coffee profile featuring sweet chocolate, caramel, and citrus notes, complemented by a bold, creamy body and well-balanced acidity.

The coffee has mulitple farmers and is a joint lot from very small scale producers who produce a varietyof other crops to allow for shade grown coffee.

Roaster’s notes:
Despite rising shipping costs, this coffee remains our go-to everyday brew. It retains specialty grade quality, with an SCA cupping score of 83 points. Brewed with Longyearbyen’s, it excels as an espresso and is perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up.
