This coffee is a unique experiment from our roastery, crafted for the more adventurous coffee drinker. The raw beans have been gently aged in a Scottish whiskey barrel before roasting, resulting in a smoky, oaky flavor with hints of vanilla and a distinct whiskey character that bursts like a firework.
Despite the aging, the coffee's inherent qualities shine through with fruity, juicy notes and a creamy body. It is roasted to a medium level, alcohol-free, and represents a rare, limited edition in our lineup. Once sold out, it will be unavailable for at least a year — or until we acquire another barrel.
Community tasters have shared mixed but generally pleasant reviews. This coffee may not suit everyone's taste or be ideal for everyday drinking, but it makes an excellent after-dinner choice.
