Welcome to fresh, exciting Coffee in Longyearbyen
We are a small scale specialty Coffee roastery operating from the heart of Svalbard, Longyearbyen with a hope to offer a comforting, exciting, invigorating and if desired, an experimental Coffee drinking experience for the locals and visitors of the island.
This is a part time venture and a way to give back warm hospitality that was shown to us on arrival while aiming to offer in season, freshly roasted coffee beans.
At The Svalbard Roastery we have a strong focus on transparency in sourcing our green beans and offer above market prices to improve the quality of life of the farmers and ensure sustainable practices. This is why you may see the coffee farmer’s name on your bag of coffee or occasional postings of the farmer’s lives on our social media accounts.
If you are new to Coffee, a well caffeinated veteran or just wish to have a bit of adventure in your morning cup then we have something to offer you.
